Appeals & Post-Decision Advocacy

Insurance Clam Denials and Disputes
Insurance companies do not always get it right. We assist clients with disputes involving denied or underpaid claims, including homeowners claims such as hail damage and other property losses. This includes evaluating the denial, communicating with insurers, and where appropriate, pursuing appeals or further legal action to challenge the decision.

Michelle Medrano Sanchez
Founding Attorney
Attorney Michelle Medrano Sanchez is a Colorado-licensed attorney handling civil litigation matters, with a focus on insurance-related disputes.
Her legal experience includes judicial internships with the Colorado Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, as well as an enforcement internship with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission through its Honors Program, where she gained exposure to complex federal civil enforcement and criminal matters. She later served as a judicial appellate clerk, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and case analysis.
Michelle assists clients in resolving matters involving insurance disputes, liability evaluation, and case development.
In addition to her civil practice, Michelle represents indigent clients as appointed counsel through the Colorado Alternate Defense Counsel in criminal appellate and postconviction matters. This work involves reviewing trial records, identifying legal and procedural errors, and preparing written briefs and motions in appellate courts and postconviction proceedings.
Michelle applies this background to her civil practice, where she assists clients in insurance-related disputes, including appeals of home policy claims, property damage, and motor vehicle accidents. Her focus is on clear communication, disciplined case preparation, and practical strategies aimed at efficient resolution.
As a first-generation attorney, a wife, and a parent, Michelle understands the real-world impact legal issues can have on individuals and families. Michelle approaches her work with that clear perspective in mind: focused on clear communication, practical solutions, and treating every client with respect and attention, regardless of background or circumstances.
